Zion Canyon Raku is a collaborative effort by self-taught artists Janet & Norman Prentice. 

Norman is the potter, and works at his wheel in a studio that overlooks a spectacular view of Zion National Park and its towering cliffs. 

Janet decorates and glazes all of the pieces, and prepares them for the firing process. Janet also operates the five gas fired Raku kilns. One is made of brick, and the others are constructed from ceramic fiber mat.
