Waxed Bowls

These are considered WaxWorks bowls. The leaf pattern is a "WaxWorks" and the one below is our "Abstract SouthWest Bowl". The designs are painted on with liquid wax which goes on just like paint. The wax resists the glaze and leaves all unglazed areas to turn smokey to black in the post firing reduction. Each is very different and these bowls never come out the same at any time. That is the fun thing about Raku for us; everything is different. These bowls are made to sit in stands or to be hung from a wall. Bowls from 7.5"- 9" in diameter and 2" - 3" deep, run from $42.00 to $48.00 + $14.00 S&H. 9.5" - 14" in diameter and 2.5" - 3.5" deep, run from $52.00 to $175.00 + $18.00 S&H. If you would like to order one we will give you two to choose from, (we have to fire two to have one came out perfect).
